De voorstelling is het resultaat van een gelijknamig workshoptraject / proces, waarin jongerencoach/singersongwriter Dan Tuffy zijn therapeutische en muzikale kundes eens wilde verenigen en daarbij de krachten bundelde met Wageningse klankkunstenaar Remco de Kluizenaar en de Edese kunstenaars Tineke Roseboom (sopraan), Larissa Verhoeff (dichter) en Kimberly Beekhuijzen (danseres). En vooral ook met een tiental deelnemers aan het project die met veel plezier in creatieve explosies hebben gewerkt aan gedichten, songs, scenes, dans en schaduwspel-projecties. De emoties die in het proces besproken werden en zaken die de creativiteit in je leven soms dwarsbomen, hebben geleid tot deze creatieve wonderen. De deelnemers en kunstenaars/workshopgevers staan op gelijke voet in de show en vinden het samen spannend om deels geimproviseerd, deels getraind en geoefend weer die vonk van het moment te pakken en je hierin mee te nemen. ieder stapt uit zijn comfortzone en gebruikelijke uitingsvormen, en dit lukt omdat we de stem van een groep aan het woord laten. Het belooft een ontroerende avond vol verwondering te worden. Het proces van deze groep is de voorstelling.

The show is the distilled version of the workshop series / process “Create Play Breathe”, where youth-coach/singer-songwriter Dan Tuffy took a shot at combining his therapeutic with his musical skills. To do so he joined forces with Wageningen’s soundartist Remco de Kluizenaar en from Ede the artists Tineke Roseboom (soprano), Larissa Verhoeff (poet) and Kimberly Beekhuijzen (dancer). And most of all with some ten participants of the project who submerged themselves with fun and fear in creative explosions, sharing feelings while creating, and this results in poems, songs, dance, shadowplay and scenes in genres for which there is no name yet. Every performer in the show, participants of the project and “workshopleaders” take a small roll in the show, each has to step out of their comfort zones, and it is equally exciting for all performers if they will manage to capture the spark they had in the creation process.
Probably they will succeed and tear you apart with emotions and fun, because this group has found a group voice: their process is the performance. a must see in 2024
