North Sea sound-art exhibited at BBLTHK

as a sneak preview to a “lecture-concert” on 7th of September in public library BBLTHK a fun object (fish wearing headphones) is shown from 23rd of august untill 7th of september. (see picture)

when you put on the headphones yourself, the sound you’ll hear is a piece of music made entirely of underwater recordings of animal life in the north sea, by Soundartist Remco de Kluizenaar in collaboration with Marine Animal Ecology (WUR) and Acoustic Ecology (LeidenUniversity) scientists.
