‘Kom kijken naar de kleurrijke, intrigerende werken die je dwingen zelf aan het werk te gaan. Je wéét niet wat je ziet, je moet het voelen. Het werk bestaat voornamelijk uit fotografie (techniek) en gemengde technieken. Erica onderzoekt het afwijkende, anders zien, authenticiteit, intensiteit, emotie, passie voor kleur, grafische elementen en vormen. Want Goethe zei het al: ‘licht, duisternis en kleur samen zijn het enige dat het ene object voor het oog van het andere onderscheidt en de delen van het object van elkaar onderscheidt’.’

Combineer een bezoek aan de tentoonstelling met een lunchconcert: twee kunstdisciplines onder één dak! Lunchconcert elke dinsdag van 12.30 – 13.30 uur. Hoe toepasselijk voor een concert is het kunstwerk ‘CHORUS MYSTICUS’ (zie ook flyer), geïnspireerd door het leven en werk van componist Robert Schumann.

Until APRIL 12 solo-exhibition ‘The feeling of seeing’ at Wageningen University. More than 30 works made by ERICA WELLING on show in the building ‘Impulse’ at Campus Wageningen.

‘Come see the colorful, intriguing works that force you to get to work yourself. You don’t know what you see, you have to feel it. The work mainly consists of photography (technique) and mixed techniques. Erica investigates the deviant, seeing differently, authenticity, intensity, emotion, passion for color, graphic elements and shapes. Because Goethe already said it: ‘light, darkness and color together are the only thing that distinguishes one object from another for the eye and distinguishes the parts of the object from each other’.’
